Hair on the sideburns in women can be perceived as annoying and disfiguring. This hair may be genetically determined or produced by hormones. Fortunately, you can easily remove this with laser hair removal.
The laser can effectively and safely remove unwanted hair, provided they are dark and thick enough. After each treatment, the hairs will become less and thinner. Depending on the hair and skin, an average of 6 to 8 treatments are needed. Between treatment is 6 to 8 weeks.
It is possible that new hairs develop over the years under the influence of hormones, among other things. You will need a number of treatments to get rid of this as well.
Treatment of facial hair is in most cases partially or partially reimbursed from the supplementary insurance. For more information, please visit your health insurer’s website. In many cases, you can view your policy online, which states what fees you are entitled to with your current policy. All our skin therapists are affiliated with the Dutch Association of Skin Therapists and are registered in the Quality Register Paramedics.
Sideburns / cheeks €40,-

We do not recommend epilating, waxing or other depilation methods from six weeks prior to the treatment. Shaving and cutting is allowed. If you start with laser depilation, you may not sunbathe or use a sunbed from 4 to 6 weeks prior to the treatment. Also do not use a self-tanning product.
For laser hair removal, the treatment area must be shaved. This is necessary for a good heat distribution in the hair follicle and to prevent too much heat from forming on the surface of the skin. Afterwards, a gel is applied, and you get protective goggles on. The cooled laser head (Chilltip) is placed on the to be treated skin area. The energy of the laser is accurately sent, by the pigment in the hair, to the hair follicle. This selectively destroys the hair root. Application of the innovative Chilltip, which cools the skin before, during and after each pulse and the short release of heat, protects the skin optimally. During the laser treatment you will feel pinpricks when the hairs are destroyed. The duration of treatment depends on the size of the to be treated area.
After the treatment, the treated skin may be red and warm to the touch. That is why the treated area is cooled down after the treatment. In some cases, blisters may appear on the treated area. These generally disappear within a few hours.
