Read more about which treatments will be compensated.
In 2020, acne treatments, laser facial hair removal treatments, electric epilation and camouflage therapy will be reimbursed. Several health insurers also offer a fee for laser treatments for kegs and pigment. These facial treatments are usually reimbursed from the supplementary insurance. New in 2020 is that laser hair removal in the face will also be reimbursed for men. For more information, please visit your health insurer’s website. In many cases, you can view your policy online, which states what fees you are entitled to with your current policy.
You may need a referral from your GP for a fee. Your health insurer can tell you exactly what rights to compensation your policy offers.
Our clinic and the skin therapists who work with us meet all the requirements that are set to be eligible for compensation. The skin therapists at Solution Clinic are members of the Dutch Association of Skin Therapists and registered with the Quality Register Paramedics which is essential to be eligible for compensation. We also have a cooperation contract with the VU Medical Centre in Amsterdam. You can read more about this collaboration on our website.
Of course, during the first interview you can ask all your questions about the reimbursement of the laser treatment. The intake interview is free and completely non-committal and you can apply online via this form.
