Why choose laser hair removal for armpit hair?
Do you suffer from hairs around the nipple? And are you tired of having to epilate, shave or wax them every time? Then laser hair removal is the perfect solution, especially in this sensitive area.
- Minimal discomfort: The procedure is relatively painless, with most clients experiencing only mild discomfort.
- A confident feeling: No longer be ashamed of hairs around your nipples
- Time-saving: No more daily shaving, plucking or frequent waxing sessions.
- Less irritation: No more irritations, ingrown hairs or stubble in this annoying spot.
Laser hair removal around the nipple: what to expect
When it comes to laser hair removal around the nipple, the process is straightforward and efficient. The laser targets the pigment in the hair follicles, destroying them without damaging the surrounding skin. This method is particularly effective for dark and thick hairs.
After each session, you’ll notice a reduction in hair growth, with the hairs becoming finer and less noticeable. Typically, around 8 treatments are needed, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results.

Precaution
We do not recommend epilating, waxing or other depilation methods from six weeks prior to the treatment. Shaving and trimming is allowed. If you start with laser depilation, you may not expose the treatment area to sunbathing or tanning beds from 4 to 6 weeks prior to the treatment. Also do not use a self-tanning product on the treatment area.
During treatment
For laser hair removal, the treatment area must be shaved. This is necessary for a good heat distribution in the hair follicle and to prevent too much heat from forming on the surface of the skin. Afterwards, a gel is applied, and you get protective goggles on. The cooled laser head (Chilltip) is placed on the to be treated skin area. The energy of the laser is accurately sent, by the pigment in the hair, to the hair follicle. This selectively destroys the hair root. Application of the innovative Chilltip, which cools the skin before, during and after each pulse and the short release of heat, protects the skin optimally. During the laser treatment you will feel pinpricks when the hairs are destroyed. The duration of treatment depends on the size of the to be treated area.
Aftercare
After the treatment, the treated skin may be red and warm to the touch. That is why the treated area is cooled down after the treatment. In some cases, small blisters may appear on the treated area. These generally disappear within a few hours.
